8:52 pm, Saturday, May 5th, 2007Dang, I forgot to write about yesterday’s TotD. I’ll address it briefly:
What’s the most physically painful thing you’ve ever experienced?
Shoving a leather awl down my index finger hurt a lot. So did the sprained ankle I got while playing “guerrila warfare” at my friend Robert’s house. But that stuff was nothing compared to when I tore something in my chest. I don’t know what the name for it is, but there’s some kind of membrane beneath your ribs. If you twist your torso too sharply, you can tear it. That’s the worst pain I’ve ever had. My first and most severe encounter with this kind of injury happened when I was thirteen or fourteen. It was bad. Like, doubled-over-on-the-ottoman-crying bad. I did it again several years later, but it was much less intense.
And then today’s TotD:
Whose personal blog/diary (celebrity, historical figure, good friend) do you wish you could read?
Without a doubt, it’d be Hanwool’s. He’s one of my very best friends, but the guy’s very… well, I wouldn’t say secretive, but he doesn’t really tell anyone about what he’s doing. Like, he up and moved to California without telling anyone back when our group (me, Justin, Jones, Beefy, Paige, and him) played weekly GURPS games in Pasco. He didn’t show up one week so we called his cell and he was like “Oh, I’m in LA for a while.” It sounded like he was just visiting family. But then a couple weeks went by and I talked to him again and he was like, “Yeah, I work for a software company here.” He’s always been that way about big changes. Jones, Beefy, Paige, and I had to ambush him at his graduation. We really embarrassed him with air horns and screaming; it was awesome. Anyway, he should keep a blog. Are you reading this, Hanwool? Blog, damn you!
Okay, Jones just got here. Google Maps kinda lied to him about the easiest way to get to South St., but it’s all good. Time to play some Wii and board games!
P.S. Did you know there’re Big Lebowski cosplayers? How cool is that? (This is from the SA Forums thread Tim linked.)

Yesterday’s TotD: A few months ago I was at work when, inexplicably, the muscles in my back contracted at full strength. It felt like there were steel hooks on chains in my back, pulling the muscles out. I couldn’t even walk for almost two hours, the pain was so intense.
Today’s TotD: Ed Gein’s; I can’t help but wonder at his motivations.

Yesterday TotD. Almost 25 years ago….you do not want to know the gory details, but you were involved. Some body says it couldn’t be as bad as a sprained ankle, but believe me a sprain anything isn’t as bad as what I endured. Drugs are good and should be used liberally in that situation. Today’s TotD I would be fasinated by Rege Ludwig’s ramblings.
