10:57 pm, Wednesday, May 2nd, 2007I picked up WarioWare: Smooth Moves. It’s pretty fun. Not as good as Wii Sports, but probably better than Super Paper Mario. There’s some really good music in it. So far I like the balancing act and stack-falling-blocks-on-a-plate (I forget the real name) minigames the best. The stage with the disco-dancing cats is hilarious.
I guess this “09-F9-11…” hexadecimal code is kind of a big deal. It’s been showing up everywhere on 4chan lately. After a little reading, I found out it has something to do with decrypting HD-DVDs (someone on /g/ linked this helpful Wired blog entry). Because it’s fairly short, semi-subversive, and hacker-y, a lot of people are latching onto it as though it were any other dumb internet fad. But it’s more irritating than the usual memes (fgsfds, no u, etc.) because it doesn’t lend itself to puns or anything humorous and the vast majority of the people repeating it don’t understand (or care about) its real significance (myself included), so it’s not really useful or interesting either. It has less value than even “1000000 GET.”
Blah, this week is not going well. I think I’m going to make spaghetti for dinner.
You know what’s a great pen? The extra fine Precise V5 by Pilot. Apparently they come in teal and purple, though I’ve never seen those versions IRL. I’ve only ever been able to get the red-green-blue and black packs. Or, more commonly, the two-black packs; that’s what I got at ShopKo the other night.
When I came up with today’s TotD a couple weeks ago I was eager to write about it, but I’m much less enthused ATM. I’m sure the other IMBCers’ respones (assuming anyone writes about it) will be interesting though.
This post kind of sucked, so enjoy some miscellaneous images from my kozuch/random folder. The first one’s a cool high-res still from Hot Fuzz.
