Well, I’m in the Tri-Cities now. Arrived around 8:30 pm Tuesday night and had a really great dinner — my mom grilled some huge ribeye steaks and made corn on the cob and garlic bread. Then we all went to watch the fireworks at the stadium. We usually go to the display on the Columbia, but it’s so hard to get a good spot there and sometimes there’s a lot of mosquitoes. The stadium display was better; the show was longer (about 40-50 minutes vs. 20 on the river) and there was plenty of room. I got some good shots of it with my Exilim camera, but I can’t upload them since I left the cradle in Federal Way. I’ll post them when I get back.

Yesterday I went to the doctor. Had three vials of blood drawn at the Interpath lab down the street. Really made me realize how incompetent the people at the UW Physicians Clinic must be — the Interpath guy only stuck me once and I barely felt it.

Later on, I met up with Jones and Paige and we all went over to Beefy’s mom’s house. Played some Apples to Apples and watched TV.

I think tonight we’re either playing Scattergories or going to a movie.

You know they have 70-page college-ruled notebooks at Wal-Mart for 10¢ apiece?
